Whether it’s a mall promotion or an Annual function. Every events needs preparation on part of the host. It is important to know the purpose and the people behind the event and the target they are trying to achieve. As a Corporate EMCEE, I spent significant time knowing the details and doing my homework. My content writing skills help me coming up with a strong script, if required. Being one of the successful Female EMCEE of Bangalore, I make sure the participants, guests and the crew are happy and enjoy the show.
One can’t party all night and host a corporate workshop in morning and still expect the participants to get the best of it. Take care of yourself. You need not wear a designer dress, but attire should be clean and tidy. No one likes a zero figure gorgeous hostess, who won’t be able to speak something sensible, but someone who is presentable and has his/her own style, charm and wit.
Last but not the least, Enjoy the show. I don’t remember a single event, in which I was an EMCEE (Master of Ceremony)/Anchor and did not have fun. Don’t come to the business if you don’t like interacting with people and have stage fear. Be your true self and Kill the Show !!
